Thermal and Power Industry
Electricity is an important part of our daily lives. Thanks to the thermal and power industry. But this industry leads to more ash generation and accumulation of sludge in the equipment. The workers are also at risk while cleaning the equipment at a greater height. However, these issues can be solved by manufacturing robots to assist humans in difficult tasks.

Cooling Tower Sludge Cleaning
Thermal power plants accumulate heavy silt, biological sludge, and mineral scale at the base of cooling towers, impacting circulation efficiency and thermal performance. Our SCE (Electric ROV) is ideal for shallow basins and routine cleaning, offering precision in confined and submerged environments. For deeper sludge beds and denser accumulations, the SCH (Hydraulic ROV) provides high-torque, heavy-duty extraction capabilities.
- Both are remotely operated, minimising manual entry in hazardous areas
- Designed for submerged operation and narrow access
- Enhanced heat exchange efficiency and reduced maintenance downtime
- They help extend cooling tower life for uninterrupted power generation and improve plant efficiency
Intake Well Cleaning
Our Intake Well Cleaning System is engineered for efficient desilting and debris removal from deep WES (Water Entry System) wells in thermal and industrial facilities. The system comprises two dedicated service trucks – Truck 1 (Utilities) housing the electric panel, generator and hydraulic power pack, and Truck 2 (Suction) for high-capacity sludge extraction. A precision-controlled winch system lowers a multi-nozzle cleaning solution head into the well, mounted on a rigid support plate.
- Delivers high-pressure cleaning and dislodges sediment
- Simultaneously removes waste via suction, minimising manual intervention
- Designed for safe, high-volume operations in constrained vertical shafts
- Enhances water intake efficiency and supports sustainable plant operation
Ash Pond Cleaning
Our SCE (Electric ROV) is ideal for shallow zones and decantation areas, offering precise sludge removal with low power consumption. The SCH (Hydraulic ROV) excels in deeper sections with heavy ash buildup, delivering high-torque performance in slurry-dense conditions. For large-scale, terrain-intensive operations, RHINO offers unmatched capacity, navigating tough surfaces while extracting and transporting high volumes of ash sludge.
- Together, these systems reduce manual intervention
- They prevent overflow risks
- They enable efficient ash pond management across the thermal sector
- Ideal for effective, safe and continuous cleaning of highly abrasive, semi-fluid residue
Pipeline Cleaning
Our Remotely Operated Pipeline Cleaning System is engineered for high-efficiency maintenance in thermal and power plants, where ash slurry, scale and sediment buildup hinder critical pipeline flow. The system features a rotary cutter powered by a pneumatic cylinder, capable of precise axial and radial motion for descaling operations. Mounted on rugged wheels, the robot navigates long and complex pipelines with ease.
- Designed for remote operation in confined, high-risk environments
- Ideal for ash handling systems and cooling water lines
- Reduction in downtime and increased safety
- Uninterrupted plant performance through proactive pipeline maintenance
Boiler Pipeline Inspection with Magnetic Crawler
Our Magnetic Crawler is a remotely operated inspection system designed for non-destructive testing (NDT) of vertical and horizontal boiler pipelines in thermal power plants. Equipped with magnetic adhesion technology, the crawler securely traverses ferromagnetic surfaces, including boiler tubes and vertical stacks. The system integrates HD visual inspection cameras, optional ultrasonic or phased-array sensors and remote-control functionality for safe, real-time diagnostics in high-temperature, confined environments.
- Ability to navigate tight bends and vertical climbs
- No need for scaffolding or shutdowns
- More inspection accuracy, reduced human risk and predictive maintenance
- Increased reliability and uptime in boiler and heat recovery systems
